ARTIST STATEMENT
‘Aurum Purgatorium' is a philosophical inquiry into the origin of duality and suffering. The work proposes that pain is not an intrinsic state but a consequence of the denial of the Source. It formally explores the tension between existence and the void, suggesting that suffering arises when the systematic flow of the self resists integration with the ultimate singularity. The same golden light affects the traveller differently according to their present tuning.
The piece utilizes geometric fractals and spiritual frequencies to chart this path. The composition is a relentless, spiraling vortex that pulls the eye toward an invisible center. This structure formalizes the process of purification under light. The gold lines represent the divine structure, while the geometric forms illustrate the systematic consequence of resisting that universal order.
