ARTIST STATEMENT

'Jubjub Is Announcing Arrival Of Boojum' is a profound meditation on the terrifying culmination of existential search. Inspired by Lewis Carroll's The Hunting of the Snark, the work captures the moment the quest ends - when an indefinable concept transmutes into an absolute truth so complete, it ultimately consumes the self.

The painting formally visualizes this philosophical terror. The presence of the Jubjub Bird serves as the chaotic, final warning, while the swirling Vortex embodies the force of annihilation. The composition is a direct confrontation with the paradox of ultimate knowledge - a truth so profound that personal identity vanishes in its revelation. It is an exploration of the terrifying beauty found at the precipice of non-being.
